Remoterig RRC-Micro PC-Client Setup

Start the program by clicking on the ICON on your desktop
Unfold the dialog by clicking on the arrows until you se the whole window like below.

At the Sound tab nothing need to be changed. You can change the speaker if
you want.
The Packet size must be 20 ms in this version.
You must also use Audio quality 0 (8kHz Alaw) and 20ms packet size at the Radio RRC.

The SIP tab
Enter password if you have set it at the Radio RRC.
Realm
must be set, use your callsign for example.
Realm must be set to the same
string at the Radio RRC also.
Contact should be the ip number or dns name of your
Radio RRC.
Port should be the same as the SIP port at the Radio RRC (default
5060).

The UDP tab.
The command port and audio port should correspond with the
settings of the Radio-RRC.
The Jitter Size and the Delay could be changed to
adapt for bad Interent connections.
(see the instructions for the
RRC-2158MkII).

The
COM 0 tab.
The Mode should be set to the Radio mode used and should
correspond to the Radio-RRC settings.
The UDP Comport should be selected from
one of the Microbit Virtual comports.
It does not matter which but it has to
be different for the COM0,1,2
The Baudrate, Databits, Stopbits, Parity etc.
should be set to correspond to the Radio RRC-settings.

The COM1 tab
This settings are for one of the extra serial ports and the settings should
be set to
match the settings of the Radio-RRC if used.

The COM2 tab
This settings are for one of the extra serial ports and the settings should
be set to
match the settings of the Radio-RRC if used.
Press the" save" button to save the settings.

Connecting
You can now try to connect to the Radio-RRC by
clicking on the telephone.
The text connected should appear.
The Yellow
and Red balls have the same function as the LED:s on the MIC/AUX connector
on
the RRC. Yellow = SIP connected, RED = RTP audio stream missing.
If you get a error message SIP error 401 (Busy) first time you try to connect
after
changing the settings, try to close the porgram and start again.
This is a known issue that we are working on.

if you have a Radio connected to the Radio RRC you will see the bar beside
the speaker
indicating that audio is present. You can adjust the levels with
the potentiometers to the right.
Using HamradioDeLuxe to control the radio.
Install HAmRadioDeLuxe (called HRD below) on your PC.
Check that you have the RRC-Micro PC-Client running and the connection to the Radio-RRC up.
When done start the HRD software.
Press the connect button.

Select the radio you are using.
Select the Com Port and select the same as
you you did for COM 0 at the PC-Client.
Select the other Com parameters to
match the settings of the radio and Radio-RRC and PC-Client.
No flow control/
interface power should ne marked.
It's very important that the settings is
the same in all devices to make it work.
When the settings are done press Connect and HRD will connect to radio via
the virtual Com port and
the Remoterig system.
Adjust the audio level and to increase it to much from the radio to avoid
disortion,
increase it in the PC-client instead.
Adjust the mic levels
also and don't overdrive your transmitter to avoid splatter.
