I have been using the remote for about a week. Using a Icom 706 Mark2G. Icom PW-1 and stacks at my contest qth in Summit, NY.

Hi Lee

With the Antenna setup you have in Summit I think you should consider the K3 Twin or Yaesu Twin solution to be able to use a radio which match the Antennas. Both those solution gives the same feeling as with the IC-706 with the front panel.

It gets better! Just worked another station in Germany DG7LAL he was also using the remote rig.
Maybe 1st qso remote to remote across the pond using remoterig? Video for your pleasure.

Yes Its works great!

Im using the remoterig with the Kenwood TS480S with wonderfull results.

I just mounted two Double Bazokas for 40 and 80m, my second Qth is about 50Km form my ussual Qth. After see that everything works perfect Im working on new set up there
with a Hexbeam, a double bazoka for 160m and the Expert 1K-FA.

A new way to have fun and to set up big and long antennas without any problems, with anybody  :o
