Hello everyone,
My name is Andrea and I purchased Vs. product 1274A.
I using the software Microbit RRC-Client vers. 1.1.2 but unfortunately I can not interface my Yaesu FT857 with HRD version 5.11
I use the scheme published by FT8x7 pg. To 141 pg. Rev. 147, A22 manual, TTL/mini din ... COM0 ...
I can't interface it to the program because voice and microphone work perfectly, I receive and transmit, but unfortunately does not recognize the COM.
I am available to attach the logs ... I have no more ideas and then ask for help.
Can we help me?

After two weeks of tests that have never been successful not know what to think.

I think you have some other problem, the existing version of the RRC-Micro work well with HRD. Have you tried connecting from box to box with the same cables, so you now that it's not a cable problem ? Email me the info I need to contact your radio, I will try from here and send you the settings.

Working on the public beta right now. There are some things remaining but all looks good.
Hopefully this week, at latest next.

The new version is ready but there is some issues with the installation program that has to bee solved before we can publish. Sorry for that. We are working on it and will publish as soon as possible. The new version has been tested against HRD, PCC-950, TRX-Manager, RS-BA1 and ARCP-480 and all looks good. Thanks for you patience.

Patience is a good thing.
I have not written immediately, but have already spent 15 days, without your products, I performed the first experiments of remote radio with HRD. This feature is a native HRD service and I have not encountered any particular problems.
I can not understand how you can try to sell, in the specific case, Remoterig 1274A product, if is not compatible with all possible configurations.
I also purchased the RRC-1258. Cut PCB for remote the fronts? Not to use the original ICOM microphones because I must buy another kit (icom)?
I'am still waiting!

Im sorry I don't know what you mean. The existing published versions of RRC-Micro 1214A are compatible with HRD and RS-BA1 and has been for years. The new version will also support other softwares like TRX-manager, ARCP-480, Yeasus PCC-950 , PCC-2000 etc. We are still waiting for a third party vendor to do their job before we can publish the new version.

How about adding N4PY's control software to the list Mike??
I'd like to use it with my Omni 07 but it has problems working with my RRC 1258 modems, the RRC PC Client would be prefered as the control modem.

You can't test it yet. Its in the new 1.5 version not released yet. We are waiting for some third-party vendor thing before we can release.

I tested the essential features of the version.
If I, with HRD, I press the PTT does not tx the voice, the voice there is only if I use the 1274A. If I try to use my sound card crashes the program.
I hope this is the first release ... there is still much more work to do.

Of course there will be more releases with news, changes and fixes as long this is a living product

Using PTT inside HRD will send a command to the radio to do PTT but not open upp the audio path. That's nothing to do about it. The principle for RRC-Micro is not decode what is sent between HRD and the radio just transfer the data. So that is the way it has to be. We should remember that the RRC-Micro is a complement for travelling and portable use and it will never replace the hardware boxes 100% thats not our intention.
