Reaching the Radio Controller over the Internet voia DSL-Line and Vodafone Easybox A 600 W-LAN router works fine with the firewall switched-off. However, the following ports are opened than:
Radio Controller LAN WAN Public IP
155 UDP 192.168.1.228 5060 188.107.211.158 5060 82.113.106.106 3459
156 UDP 192.168.1.228 12000 188.107.211.158 12001 82.113.106.106 12000
157 UDP 192.168.1.228 11000 188.107.211.158 11001 82.113.106.106 11000
158 UDP 192.168.1.228 12000 188.107.211.158 12000 82.113.106.106 13930
159 UDP 192.168.1.228 11000 188.107.211.158 11000 82.113.106.106 19643
160 UDP 192.168.1.228 5060 188.107.211.158 5060 82.113.106.106 3459
I do not undersand the outgoing ports number 12001 and 11001. Can somebody explain?
I have tried the following:
Firewall switched on and Radio Controller into DMZ area. Port Mapping activated as follows:
Nr. LAN IP Protokolltyp LAN Port Öffentlicher Port Aktiviert Einstellen
1 192.168.1.228 UDP 5060 5060
2 192.168.1.228 TCP 80 80
3 192.168.1.228 TCP 23 23
4 192.168.1.228 UDP 12000 12000
5 192.168.1.228 UDP 11000 11000
this does not cure the problem. The Radio Controller Web Server is perfectly reachable through the firewall.
Can somebody give me a hint?

Hy Manfred
I have switch the SIP (Audio) Port to 5560 - because 5060 is sometimes blocked in some network
(some AGBs say its not allowed to do VOIP (SIP)).
The rest looks good.

This is what I also thought. Port 5060 is used by Vodafone for the VoIP but in my case it is not forwarded into the LAN (I hope). I made a test with Port 5070, which works fine but does not solve the problem with the firewall. I managed today to set-up connection via O2 UMTS Pre-paid from Controller to Internet and Radio on the the DSL connection but still with Firewall switched-off. Manfred

I got the RRC-1258 now working behind the firewall with the following settings:
Controller behind the Firewall,
no DMZ
DynDNS activated
NAT on
Port Mapping:
IP Protocol LAN Port Public Port
192.168.1.228 UDP 12060 12060
192.168.1.228 TCP 80 80
192.168.1.228 TCP 23 23
192.168.1.228 UDP 12000 12000
192.168.1.228 UDP 11000 11000
Special Applications:
Incoming port 11000 triggers ports 11000,12000,12060
Firewall switched-on but the following features enabled/disabled:
Intrusion Detection Feature:
SPI and Anti-DoS firewall protection - off
RIP defect - on
Discard Ping To WAN Interface - on
