I received my 1258/Dongle a week ago and everything was working normal until yesterday. I have my dongle (RRC Micro) set up to work with my 1258 on a Kenwood TS2000 and on a Kenwood TS2000 that K8ZEC (John) owns. Yesterday, the audio began to get distorted and today, on multiple headsets, it is distorted regardless of which rig I activate. How do I return the dongle for repair/replacement?

PS: I have tried the dongle on two XP machines and 1 Win7 machine with the same results

I don't think the RRC-Micro dongle is broken it has not happen before. You don't need to connect the headset to the dongle you can connect the headset direct to your PC. And in the RRC-Micro software you select to use the Internal soundcard. Then you can compare and find out if it's the dongle or the Intenet connection which is the problem. If you really find it broken you find the adress on the Invoice.

Good Morning Mike:
The headset(s) work with the internal sound cards just not with the dongle.

Good Morning Mike:
The internal PC sound card works flawlessly and the RRC Micro sound card does not. It works great on transmit but not receive. Would you prefer I open up the unit to check for "whiskers" on the RRC sound card prior to sending the unit back in to you folks?

Mike, how about this: you could send me a new sound card and then bill me after ten days if you do not receive the bad dongle from me. Or, you could send me a new one now and bill me immediately and then refund PayPal when you receive my bad sound card. Please let me know if any of this is possible.
