Hello all,
LP-100A's manual says the Wattmeter's baud rate is 115,200. I don't think the com ports of either the RRC-1258MkIIs or Webswitch 1216H support such high baud rate. Also, wouldn't such a high baud rate connection slow things down on a slow internet connection? Does anyone on this forum use an LP-100A?
Thanks,

Hi Marvin
mine is working perfect on 9600 baud
didn't even try it on 115k
so no need to go higher and consume more bandwidth

Hi Guy,
Thanks for your reply. Do you have LP-100 or LP-100A? I read there was a baud rate difference between the two. The LP-100 is an older model, the LP-100A is a newer model.
Please, let me know.

Just an update to my situation. I was unable to get my brand new LP-100A Watt meter working with my brand new Webswitch 1216H. Older versions of the LP-100A had lower baud rate, and that might have been the reason the units might have been compatible in the past. To get it going, I purchased a RS-232 server and all is fine.

So newer versions of LP-100A uses baud rate 115k?

Yes, and there's no option to change to any other baud rate (one can change the "Poll Rate", though, and this is useful for slower internet speed).
