I am very new to the Remoterig thing but find it to be really interesting. I have my D700 remoted to a building roof top about a mile away. The only thing I was not able to make work was remoting the serial connection to work with the Kenwood programming software. Has anyone been sucsesfull at remotely programming the D700 by using the com 1 port? If so, I would love to know what I am doing wrong or some tips on getting it to work.
