Hello

I am useing TS-480 & RRC-1258MK2. It's working very well. I will chenge my rig to TS-590(G).
IS RRC-1258MK2 Twin Mode work with TS-590(G) like TS-590(S) ?  (G)=new type
Please advice.

We have no TS-590G rigs to test with, but I have heard that they have changed the protocol so it will probably not work 100% with the G models

Thank you for the quick reply Mike san.

I do not understand about protocols. But I have found that there are some difference
in PC commands. ( I think these are not so imporatant commands).

This could also apply to the TS-590S firmware upgrade that was release in January. Has anyone tried this upgrade with Remoterig yet?

The upgrade is supposed to bring several of the "G" functions to the TS-590S.

I upgraded my both TS-590S to vers. 2.0 succesfully. It is still working.

It is a good news!

Possibly TS-590 Twin mode is working with TS-590(G) without some command.

Under the new firmware , The ALC meter is not working at control site (not Radio site) ?
