Title: RRC wifi card spares
Post by: M0BPQ on 2016-05-21, 00:23:05
Hi Everyone,

I have 3 full RRC set ups, two of which have wifi cards in the "head" boxes. I was cycling to work recently and had a minor accident when the RRC was in a hard case in my cycling bag. Somehow the RP-SMA was damaged beyond repair. I see that the co-ax pigtail between the RRC board and panel mount RP-SMA is detachable and would like to replace this item. What connector is used on the PCB end? I don't recognise it but google suggests it is an IPEX. Can anyone confirm?

Cheers

Thanks Mike. I think I have found one on ebay on the UK. It is cheap enough to make a mistake! If I am stuck, I'll get in touch.

Just to confirm there are some suitable cable advertised as IBEX with RP-SMA connectors on ebay for around $6 inc postage in the UK. They are much cheaper if you can wait for the slow boat from China, of course.

I am now back up and running!
