Title: Audio quality can not be changed
Post by: ur4qrh on 2017-08-01, 10:46:45
Hello!

I use remoterig rrc1258 mkII (v2.91) and rrc-micro 1274B (v 1.10.1.0)
but i can not change audio quality, i change in rrc1258 but realy in status windows i always see "Current audio quality 0 - alaw 8 kHz"
also i see about 90-100 kbits traffic in the internet channel regardless of the audio mode selected.
Anybody can check this ?

That is I believe correct behavior. I am pretty sure that Mike said that the RRC Micro Client as well
as the Nano Client both automatically set the audio quality to CODEC 0 for the duration of the
session.

But for digital mode is not the best choice?

Maybe not, but since you can use this setup without any additional interface by taking audio directly
off of the stream, it usually works very well.
