Title: Audio goes full duex?
Post by: EA2AR on 2020-03-07, 14:32:01
I own a RemoteRig system I bought recently and I'm trying to implement it in my station.

I performed all local net connections and testings, and everything seems to be ok, but audio from control unit to radio unit is not continuous, only a very short burst every 3 or 4 seconds. PTT is NOT active (I'll activate TX via Icom CI-V), so I wonder if this is normal. The audio link is not full duplex?

If you do not use Hardware PTT you need to set "rtp tx mode" = continuously in the Control RRC, see manual for details
