I tried earlier  rev 1.0.24 and now  1.2.1
After installation , then trying to start the program, i only get a dialog box about
that i had to install V4.0 of .Net Framework.....

i use swedish 64 bit wersion of windows 7 on an acer.
and hare tryed to remove and than install the .Net Framework again.

older version 1.021 and 1.0.22 works ok for me.

Hej Staffan.

That is really strange.
I my also run on Win7/64 bit and with exactly the same .NET Framework as you. (4.0.30319) without any problems.

The only difference between your and mine configuration is that I have Win7 SP1 installed.

There is one .NET thing that changed  between 1.0.x and 1.2.x and that is that in 1.0.x the full .NET framework was needed,
while in 1.2.x only the Client .NET framework version is needed.

However I will make an install on a 'clean' machine to verify that nothing is broken..

Staffan, Jag har nu testat installation av 1.2.1 på en helt ren Windows 7 64 Bit installation och får inga som helst problem, så jag vet inte riktigt vad som är felet.

I have now installed 1.2.1 in a new clean installation of Window 7 64Bit and can't reproduce the error. All went smooth and nicely without any problems.

Tested the new version 1.3.0 beta 1 today,

sorry to say, I get the same message (about missed .net .....)
also from this version  of the PC Client program.

And the message tells me to ask the program author about it.

Today I make another try.

*  First I uninstalled all old version of the RRC Client.
*  Then uninstalled all  program with .Net in the list.
*  Restarted the computer

* Started installation of rev 1.3.0
* A dialog box tells me to install .Net components.
* Just clicking on the link in the dialog box.
* Installation starts and goes ok.
'  Restarted the computer again.

* Started the installation og RRC 1.3.0 again.
* Installation works ok, no wrong messages.
* Started RRC Client, and get this message about missed .Net components again...

What to do ?

In fact I has no idea on whats going on.

I'm on vacation until Friday, but then maybe we could arrange some remote session to find out what the problem is.
There is a free program for make this happen. TeamViewer (http://www.teamviewer.com/en/index.aspx).

Let's make some arrangement with this when I come back
