Hi

As two units behave in the same way it's obvious that it's something outside the RRC which is causing the trouble. I have never heard RFI having that effect before, I doubt it's the reason probably it's more simple, but who knows.

Hi I have answered this many times before. MH-59 cannot be used, it is not a traditional DTMF mic, it has a Microcontroller inside which has separate data lines to the Radio. These datalines is not transferred by the Remoterig Use the statndard mic MH-31.

I doubt it's RFI. if so it should reboot when transmitting. But such problems are rare since people stopped using ADSL. Try to change router or at least try to put a switch in between to make any changes to the setup.

Perfect that they have made instructions, I had not seen that before. I just saw an email that another customer got with part of the info

I will put a link on the Remoterig site to the instructions

Hi

if you do like I said from beginging it works, I have also seen instructions from Prosistel saying the same.

You can never convert a serial port to USB, all converters are USB to serial.

There is nothing you can change in the RRC to make any difference. If it's not related to the Router it must be some hardware failure in the Ethernet PHY.
You can try to change IP and port number  with the webswitch, maybe ethernet cable also. Does the router indicate ETH LINK when it's not working ? Can you ping the RRC from the router ?

Hi

you only need a connector like this

https://www.mouser.se/ProductDetail/CONEC/164A16569X?qs=1A3x81zjaSym3KfjHmcMRA%3D%3D

and the MAX232

https://www.mouser.se/ProductDetail/Maxim-Integrated/MAX232CPE%2b?qs=1THa7WoU59H6WLBcdj%252BTOQ%3D%3D

the wires which need to be cut is on the back of the PCB under the empty socket

I will try to get a picture from an other ham i helped

Hi

it's quite easy to convert a USB Prosistel to RS232. 15 minutes of work

1. Replace the USB connector which eg is a USB to TTL converter with a 9 pin female D-sub- same pinning

2. Put a MAX232 in the empty socket on the main PCB

2. Remove the main PCB and cut the two jumpers  under the socket you put the MAX-232 in
