Yes, I don't use AFSK for RTTY though. I much prefer FSK so I don't have to worry about audio levels and all. All my software is set up that way as well as all the hardware. And I really don't use any of the other digital modes.

I ordered mine via email directly to Mike complete with credit card info. However I was going to be in Sweden anyway and just had him ship it to the address where I was going to be. I am just now getting around to setting it up and playing with it. It seems a slick bit of kit for travel use. However I see no provision for RTTY, would have been the icing on the cake. If I want to do that I guess I will have to tote along the big box.

Things are going OK with the setup here thanks to Mitch. Now I can't see how to power down my K3 from the control system when I am running with just a 1258 and a notebook. Don't want to leave it on all the time. Is there some way to send the PS0 command in HRD?

OK, I can transmit & receive alright, but I have not been able to get HRD or WrieLog to connect to the radio. Probably it is a configuration problem with program modes of serial ports, or data rates or???. I am using a PC for control on the control end (eventually a Micro unit). Can someone out there who has done this help walk me through the configuration?

OK, figured that out. I was in wrong program mode for the radio.

Sorry, I am trying to use PC control of my K3 without dragging another radio along with me. So far I am just connecting them both here in the house, on the same network.

I am not finding a "connect" button anywhere in the browser interface. Is it on the "status" page? If so it is not on my 1258Mk2 control box. What am I doing wrong?
