General discussion forum / Re: Computer --> rrc radio side
« on: 2019-04-18, 13:25:08 »
Hi Mike!
thks for the answer!

Yes, I know. moxa and similar are already on my station.

The point is that I have a RRC (radio control) "free" and I think that give the opportunity to use it also as a "com gateway" like the moxa is a real add value for the rrc.

Can be an idea to sell the software PC-Client alone, without any hardaware, just to have the com port feature?

regards

Hi!
I woul'd like to know if is possibile to use the RRC (radio side) as a com gateway.

My idea is to use my the rrc to control an expert amplifier and a rotator from a PC WITHOUT the control unit.

Similar as is done with the rrc-dongle but without the dongle and just the software to establish the connection between the pc and the rrc.

regards
Marco

General / License....
« on: 2014-12-24, 08:56:09 »
Hi!

I see that if one would buy the license for rrc-nano must select the software in relation of his radio.
Why don't do a single lincense for all radio brand?
If I have multiple installation I have to buy other license?

If we compare the rrc-micro and rrc-nano...the first one is "hardware" independent so I can use it with icom, yaeu or kenwood and switch between the config without problem. The second one no.
Same things about RRC. Change the cable connection and...ready!

Is not more easy for you to manage the license :-) and more flexible for the final users?

General / Remoterig RRC Nano Server - tablet?
« on: 2014-10-03, 16:37:07 »
I would like to try the RRC-Nano with my nexus tablet but the application "Remoterig RRC Nano - Server" is NOT available for this device. I can't install it.

In the description is written:
....
RRC-Nano is an App for Android which makes it possible to remote control Ham radio stations from a Smartphone or other Android devices.

Has someone installed it on a tablet?

Hello remoterig guys!
With this application you have made a big step forward in the remoterig suite!

You have managed to do better than what I had thought with this post:

Congratulations and thanks for the good work!!!

Now we come to the problems :-)

With the app I can connect without problems to the radio but when I change the "BAND" on the display the frequency don't change.

I'm sure the radio band changes . In addition, it also changes the " MODE" 40m-lsb, 20m-usb, .....and this appears on the phone display .

Where I'm wrong?

All the test are done in a LAN with RRC connected via cable and obviously the phone via wifi.

For the moment is everything!
I'm waiting further developments!   :-)

Eventually with reduced functionality...just voip
Or with an extra little and portable hardware?
