Thanks for the reply. But didnt solve the issue. When I pick mode 5 for instance the CONNECT button is removed wanting b=me to use the power button on the face unit but still no 8 Volts on pin 2 (or again any pin). Pin 4 has a little, about 2-3v though.

On my control unit Im trying to attache a Kenwood face (RC-2000). It is not working. In trouble shooting I note that pin 2 (or any pin for that matter) has 8v. What am I missing?

Simple question from a newbe. Can I use a remote PC running HHD (and select the "remote mode") to control a remote rig Radio side unit?  IE: I dont think I would need to use the control side RemoteRig unit since the PC running HRD should be capable of sending IP data directly the the radio side Remote Rig Unit if ports were forwarded. Correct? I ask because I cant get it to work.

General discussion / Wrong device type
« on: 2019-07-21, 14:16:59 »
When I plug in my rrc-micro windows reports that it is a “mass storage device” and can’t load the drivers thus it is rendered useless and the micromanager software can’t load. I did notice that when I plug it into the USB port on computer it gets assigned “storage device E”. How to I let windows know what type os device it is (and what type of device is it) and load the correct drivers so that the software will load correctly? Thanks in advance Andy O N9FZM
