Hello Gerry,

Nice to hear of your real-time CAT translator. I have two RemoteRig units in the lab, a Icom IC-706MKII and a Icom IC-R2500 both administrated via separate remote frontpanels ower two WLAN streams.

I have plans for usage of the new Icom IC-7100 and a Yaesu FT-8900 transceiver, so your CAT translator is of great interest, both for radio sharing and administration.

Hej Mikael och RemoteRig teamet - Efter installation av den nya programvaran v2.35 i mina två RRC-1258mk1 enheter, så stänger Icom radion, IC-706mkIIG av sig då man trycker på "Export settings HTML" i radio RRC-menyn. Installationen är ett lokalt nätverk med eget WLAN mellan Remote-manöverpanel och radio. Det verkar som den nya programvaruversionen är i konflikt med någon vital funktion. Förbindelsen kopplar ner enl ovan, och man får trycka flera gånger på IC-706:ans powerknapp för att återstarta systemet. Några tips eller idéer?  Med vänliga hälsningar  /Leif

I have just tested the new 2.26 firmware regarding the volume changes in earlyer version of audio quality 12. The setup have being on-air for some time now without any volume explosions. So the high compression - low speed audiosetting now works perfekt. Good Job!

Hi

I just tested the ADPCM (audio quality 12) in a lokal IC-706MkIIG setup at a private WLAN net. Just as described in the earlyer post, the listeng volume suddenly "explodes" to a very high level starting at some milliseconds breake in the WLAN connection. The high volume continue for up to 45S, or to the next WLAN short breake - then it goes back to normal again. The firmware used is 2.25.
