When I upgraded at the control site my PC from W7 to W10 I got two problems:
1) My HRD v5 didn't find anymore com5 port which I had been using.
2) When trying with other control SW I recognized the data transfer was very slow.

HRD v6 was able to find the com port but response was veeery slow.
Also N4PY control SW worked but slowly.
I use USB connection between PC and RRC.

I removed Microbit setup manager SW and virtual comports as Mitch above has suggested. Then I reinstalled the setup manager which also installs the virtual comports and rebooted the PC. After this the speed was back. HRD v5 still doesn't find the ports but the other programs do.

I also had similar problems when using W7. Earlier it worked fine but recently it started to behave like Kari has described. I went to RRC advanced settings and set "UDP cmd min-data-size" to 80. That helped but didn't solve the problem totally.

After I upgraded W7 to W10 the problem disappeared.

I have Idiom press RotorCard LP-rotor for controlling it.
My COM1 serial settings are:
- mode 3
- 4800 baud
- 8 data bits
- 1 stop bit
- parity 0-off
- rts/cts no
- terminator 00 ( do not matter)
- USB, no

In control end I have straight cable but in remote end reversed, as in the manuals drawing.
Often I use HRD rotator instead of LP as it has better user interface. But both work ok.

I have not succeeded to get the same working via the new virtual USB-port in version 46 however.

I have also Idiopress card+ Yeasu G1000 DXC rotor. I control it with HRD. My com1 setting is mode 3 and it works fine.

I had similar problems with K3, when I installed v2.26. HRD didn't work but everything else was fine.

In the older versions com0 and com2 ports were used by default parallel with K3. In v2.26 com2 has to be configured parallel with com0 (new feature). Another way is to configure just com 2 port for radio control. Now I am using the parallel mode and everything is fine.

I have no experience with TS-2000.
