I can turn the radio on with the rc-2000 however cannot transmit or receive audio.    I went to the site and verified that the speaker output is working and that the microphone that I am using with the patch cable is good which it is.    Earlier today the ts2000 was working fine with the remoterig, i could talk listen remotely.    I went to the radio site hooked up the serial cable to see if I could use the arcp software  it didnt work so I re configured the remoterig rcc1258mkII to original ts-2000 settings rebooted both still no transmit and receive audio  any ideas
are the remoterig boxes bad need repair.   they have been working fine with the ts-480 and worked fine for a time with the ts-2000 i can turen the radio on change frequencies access the menu, I just cannot transmit or receive audio

I should be receiving my K3 friday, and need some help to hit the ground running.    I will be using the remote rig rrc1256mkII pair
in the instructions as they pertain to the manual it states that the RS-232 from the Radio goes to the COM2 plug  on the radio remote rig, the stereo audio out goes to the speaker, and the microphone to the AUX mic.  The control rig the RS-232 plugs to Com2 and then out to computer USB to be controlled with HRD etc.

When looking at the user manual with regards to Elecraft the only settings it has us do are in the radio settings menu option, and not any mention of serial settings menu option.
My concern is if we are using RS-232 cables which are serial cables why are there no mention of that menu, or program parameters for that.
any assistance as to how I can get this up and running quickly would be helpful

I have the dyndns and networking side figure out I just need assistance with the physical parameters so I can get the two box talking to each other while using HRD

I have acquired an Elecraft K3 and am interested in running it remote using my RRC 1258MKII.
I need to know how I can get the RRC 1258 to turn the radio off and on remotely similarly to how
the TS-480 turns on and off.    Elecraft says that there is a pin on the ACC that goes to ground,
and software needs to sent a PSO command to the radio via rs-232.   Has anyone successfully accomplished this?
if so can you provide me with a diagram, as to how I can make this happen''
