General discussion / FS: RRC-Micro 1274A **Reduced**
« on: 2016-05-28, 02:25:53 »
I wanted the new ability to run paddle CW with the newer 1274B dongle......so I got one.

I have a 1274A dongle I'd like to sell. Works perfectly on SSB and Keyboard CW.

Asking $120.00 or best offer.

Thanks

Thanks....I got the RRC Micro program working. I have upgraded the RRC-Radio to v. 2.91.

I cannot get the system to work. When I press either side of the paddles (which are plugged into the AUX port of the dongle), nothing happens. Is there a setting that I must set to get Bk-in TX? I have enabled the paddles in RRC Micro.

*** UPDATE ****

I removed the program again, and in device manager uninstalled the serial ports. Then I reinstalled RRC Micro. It now transmits when using the paddles. However, the iambic mode A does not work properly. Characters are not completed as in mode A.

**** 2nd UPDATE ****

Everything seems to work in Iambic Mode B.........band is dead right now, so no one is answering, but I am seeing myself on Reverse Beacon Network. Looks like we are in business once the band comes up. :-)

I got the new 1274B dongle at Dayton. I installed the new firmware per the instructions in the dongle.

I installed version 1.10.0 of RCC Micro. When running it, I get the message "Value of '20' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between "Minimum' and 'Maximum'.
Parameter name: Value

Do you have a solution?

This will only work with the 1274B dongle?  Is there any upgrade path for those of us who have the 1274A?

Hi AJ1Y......which version of OSX and Windows are you using? I am considering buying a Macbook Pro, but don't want to lose the ability to run RRC Micro. If it will run with Windows in Bootcamp, I'll be ok?

Thanks,

Any work on paddle CW for the RRC-Micro? I was looking at the remotehams ORB interface. They seem to have figured out how to do that. It would be great on the RRC-Micro.

Just realized that won't work.....when you "listen" to the Virtual Cable input, it simply re-routes it to the Virtual cable. Oh well.

If you go into the Audio settings in Windows, under Properties, you should be able to check a box that says "Listen to this device" if you want to hear the RX audio through your speakers (I didn't want to hear it on PSK).

I also would like paddle CW support for the micro.

Also, the ability to upgrade form the 'old' dongle to the new one if that is necessary for paddle CW.

But as currently configured, the software does not quite yet support paddle CW from the new dongle?

How much will the newer dongle cost to purchase?

What is the difference between the dongle I have, and the "new" one?

I have finally found a solution for running PSK31 with HRD + DM780 on the RRC Micro.
http://www.vb-cable.com has a free virtual cable (only 1 input and 1 output) that I installed and select it in RRCMicro as the mic and speaker selection. Do the same in DM780. Set the levels by HRD's AF gain control for RX and adjust mic gain, and it all works perfectly. I have worked quite a few stations today. Taking the notebook with me to Florida tomorrow, and will try it over the internet, but no reason it shouldn't work just fine.
