Hi there hb9edm.

We are working on it and things are going quite good.
Hope to have some kind of test version on soon with the most important functions in place.
This version will work against TS480

Here is a screenshot on whats going on  :-X

That looks great.......just hope there is an iOS version down the road that works with the IC-7100  ;D

General discussion / RRC-Micro beta release CW issue
« on: 2013-11-15, 02:21:19 »
Love the new interface, all working great except for Macros. When sending longer macros, such as a 3x3 CQ, it only sends a short part of the macro and stops. When typing in the window, all is perfect.

That is interesting. I am using 1.6.10 on a Windows 7-64 bit notebook with wifi connection without any issues.

Maybe I'm wrong.... :-\   It may be the "=" character that everyone sends between comments.

Thanks again.

Thanks, Roland. Tried a few QSO's on the new release. Seems to work FB. One VERY minor error.

For the "-" character, it sends -....-   instead of  -...-

Other than that, it's great. I really like the extra Macro spots.

Thanks again.

Mike:

Have you tried it? Just want to make sure it's not just on my end. The older version(s) still work here (with their own problems however). But while the new version looks great, it's just not sending the cw correctly at all.

Roland:

Unfortunately, the new version 1.6.9.0 is not sending CW ok. Whatever I type in, or if I use a macro, it only sends a few PARTS of characters. Don't know what could be wrong.

Looks great ! I'll try it out tonight.

General discussion / Re: Microbit RRC Client - won't connect
« on: 2013-10-12, 22:46:50 »
I was just reading on the web about VPN's and port forwarding. I found the following:

  • What sort of VPN are you wanting to use. If it's PPTP then you will need to forward TCP/1723, and Protocol 47 (GRE).
For IPSEC you will need UDP/500 and Protocol 50 (ESP).

  • You are only forwarding the UDP and TCP protocols. GRE and ESP are protocols, not ports. If the DMZ function assigns a public IP address to your server then it is likely that your router cannot forward these protocols via NAT. Some router cannot forward GRE or ESP protocols

So, it MIGHT be your router. Just a thought.

I don't use a VPN, and don't know much about them, but are there configurations for it? Port 80 is normally open on all systems, but it might be that ports 13000-13002 aren't making it thru to the box.  Looking at your configuration I don't see any glaring problems.

You need to make sure that you are port forwarding Ports 13000, 13001, 13002 to the RRC-Radio box.

That is good news !  Is it possible to be able to adjust CW speed without disconnecting from the remote end?

Oh well......I don't think the older version will work with my IC-7100, so I'll just have to wait until they fix this bug in the next release.

Thanks

General discussion / Keyboard CW....no way to insert pause?
« on: 2013-10-08, 04:49:02 »
I am LOVING the new RRC-Micro on my IC-7100. I have found an issue I can't resolve. I tried a CW QSO a few moments ago, and although I put a space between words on the keyboard (with the spacebar), all of the characters are run together as if there is no pause between words. I tried to find something on the website that explains the keyboard CW, but didn't find any.

Is there a way to insert a pause between words, other than waiting until the previous word is sent before typing the next word? (That way leaves TOO big a pause). A space between words on the keyboard isn't working here.

Even with this issue, I had a good qso with the other party. hi hi.

Thanks,
