Hi

Yes I remember it now when Guy write it. Before you change back. Try to log what happens.

iPhone App / Re: iPHONE app...

Hej

I tested with a FT-950 which I have here, the output in the headset jack is 10 dB lower than the speaker output when connected to the RRC ( I do not know if it is the same in the FT-2000). With the volume at 12 o'clock and a speaker direct to the speaker jack on the Control-RRC it's still to high to listen to  a carrier when the Radio-RRC  is connected to the speaker jack. But anyhow you can compensate for those -10 dB by setting "codec inp gain" in the Radio-RRC to 13 (13x0,075=9,75). Another way is to remove one or both of the 100 ohm load resistor(s) in the Radio-RRC to reduce the load.

Not in parallel, but you can put a relay controlled by one output at the Radio-RRC which disconnect the local control panel automatically when you connect over the remote.

Hi

No the Expert 1k-FA has no third party control Interface, you have to transfer the serial port and use their own PC-software. It can be transferred over com1 in the RRC:s

Hi Don

It's no known problem at all with remoterig ddns. It should work if you upgrade the firmware and do as the manual says. I just checked and there is no update from s/n 2629 yet. You can see on the radio-RRC status page if the ddns is OK.

Yes

both the Webswitch and the RC-1216H supports DCU-1 protocol which is used by idiompress

Are you sure that you have the right polarity on the PS. Positive should be in the centre of the connector. The X100F RRB2 is a Automatic fuse, and if it's hot something is consuming to much power.

Thor TF4M who has a very early K3, had problem with distorted audio caused by RF feedback when he was installing his remote station. After lot of troubleshooting he found the Application Note from Elecraft.

http://www.elecraft.com/K3/mods/K3_Application_Note_Front_Panel_Microphone_Grounding.pdf

This was probably the solution, but instead of making this recommended change, hi made a new cable and connected the RRC to the K3 back mic input instead, and all problem was gone.

Hi

A RC-1216H can not control both the Stepp-IR and the rotator at the same time. You need to have two or a a RC-1216H and Webswitch-1216H (with the extra serial cable). Which also can control the rotator.

The load on the Audio input to the Radio-RRC is 50 ohm. If the radio can't produce enough audio with 50 ohm load  the levels will be low. There is nothing which can be changed by jumpers. I have not noticed any problems with the levels when we tested with FT-2000, but we do not have any FT-2000s now to test with. Test to use the speaker output on the back instead.

Hi

I connected from here (sweden) to your radio, and it works perfect. Even very low latency. So your Radio-RRC and the router at the radio site is set up OK. I can t see the other end. But at least you know where to look. Not much to antenna connected I guess, only a few weak signals on 20m heard.

The audio input to the Radio-RRC are made for "Speaker level" not line out. If you connect it to the phones output or speaker output it will be OK
