I think you have some other problem, the existing version of the RRC-Micro work well with HRD. Have you tried connecting from box to box with the same cables, so you now that it's not a cable problem ? Email me the info I need to contact your radio, I will try from here and send you the settings.

The RCC-1258MkIIs  which are in production now (and has been for more than a year) has a stereo codec. But it's a totally different footprint on the new chip so it's not possible to replace the mono chip

Hi

When powering up the relay ouputs will return to the same state as before the 12V was lost. If the Internet fails the relays does not change

The default settings works for most users with high bandwidth as you have. You do not say what your problem is, but if you get short dropouts due to crowded internet connections you can increase the Jitter buffers. Jitter buffer size should always have a higher value than Jitter buffer delay. Remember that the Jitter buffer settings are controlling the recieved audio in each box. If you still got dropouts with maximum settings, you can reduce audio quality to 0 and test. If it doesn't help  and the dropouts are so disturbing that you can not live with it, it's not much to do other than change Internet operator. In most cases it's better to have the same operator in both ends, it will give lower latency and less problem with dropouts etc. I assume that you have checked that nobody else in the household is occupying all bandwidth by watching live video or something.

It's nothing strange with the configuration described, I have tested it my self, but you have to use the right settings both in the RRC:s and in the Radio. And of course the cables and strappings are important, I don't understand what more you ask for ???

if you use the A20 manual you should look at the settings on page 121. Program mode should be 3 for FT-857 and stop bits should be 2. If you check the latest manual you can see that you can use the FT-857 with detached control panel, like the IC-706, TS-480 etc.

Hi

750k/250k should be enough if it really is 250k but you can set audio quality to 0 to check if it's the problem. But first the PWR LED should not blink.  I guess you have NOT set dns IP OK, in most cases it should be the same as Gateway IP but not always. Check on the status page, what it says about dns status.

What happens when you press the pwr on button ?  the yellow LED at the AUX/MIC jack should light up.
The setup for the TS-2000 is very simple so it can only be a cable or settings issue. You can email me the exported settings files if you want so I can check your settings.

General discussion forum / Re: Cmd Latency, delay to start.
« on: 2012-02-19, 12:20:15 »
You are not describing what equipment or internet connection you are using. But there is no delay in sending the meesage over the Internet from the RRC, it's done as soon as the end of message character is received.

But with some mobile eg 3G connections we got reports that the beginning of the audiostream was missing or messed up. Those who had problem thougt that it took awile before the mobile network started to send a continuous stream of packets.  We introduced the possibility to send continuous audiostreams in both directions and the problem was solved.

Maybe you have the same situation for the command stream, but it's not that easy to send dummy data packets over the link to keep the bandwidth constant.

No. USB is very difficult to transfer over the Internet. There are USB over Ethernet link equipment but I haven't heard about any which works reliable over the Internet.

IN 0 is not allowed to be low at power up. That's the same in all hardware versions and is not possible to change with software.

The bootloader is no involved in how the webpages looks like. It's only used to start up the main program, flashing new firwares etc. We not yet done any modifications to the bootloader that makes it necessary yo upgrade it from the orginally installed versions.
