What is the status of the app update to fix the license check problem?
What problems are you having? And have you tried the new beta versions?

We have published beta versions of RRC-Micro(1.10.0), 1274B(2) and RRC-1258(2.91) that add support for CW using external paddles connected to the 1274 USB Dongle's AUX connector. If you would like to give it a try then you need to upgrade 1274B's and radio RRC-1258's firmware in addition to upgrade the RRC-Micro software.

Read about how to upgrade the 1274B firmware here: http://www.remoterig.com/wp/?page_id=3370.

The keyer/CW function must also be enabled in RRC-Micro. That is done on a new tab called 'Keyer':

The side tone is locally generated in the PC and can be tested that it works by clicking the "Toggle tone" button. When sending CW there might be a 'click' sound at the beginning and the end of the tone. It's caused by how the PC starts and stops playing the 'beep' and is not possible to eliminate.

LF delay is used to cancel echo from the CW transmission in the radio.

Download RRC-Micro from here: http://www.remoterig.com/firmwares/RRCMicro_1.10.1.zip

RRC-1258 version 2.91 from here: www.remoterig.com/firmwares/RRC1258-CRC-v2.91_2016-05-12-BETA.zip

and 1274B version 2 from here: remoterig.com/firmwares/1274B-2016-05-03-v2.zip

We hope that it works and that you find it useful!  8)

the microphone, which was unsuitable for other applications also work stopped. I had to restore the factory settings of the phone. and install version 1.5.1, it is now running both the microphone, as the nano rrc 100%.
But that had nothing to do with the "App Trial Period Has Expired" issue.

We have added support for profiles making it easy to use the app with more than one radio station. There are also license handling changes that should improve how the app handles an inaccessible license server. We would like beta testers to give them a try and give us feedback how it works.

Reviewing the app's source code it still isn't clear why a paid version would fail connecting when it is unable to reach the license server. It must have something to do with timing of events that are different depending on phone, Internet delays, etc.  It is on the other hand clear why it showed a couple of incorrect error messages, so that will be fixed in the next release.

Give it another try. We had to move the license server once again. It should be working now.

“APP TRIAL PERIOD HAS EXPIRED” was due to a license server crash, but it works now so if you are getting Timeout it seems to be related to something else. Did you enter the settings correct after reinstalling?

What does "not working" mean? Are you still getting the error messages? Or what?

I am still unable to see how a registered version stopped working due to the license server failure, be it completely or partly. The only problem should have been the incorrect error messages, and as I wrote before, that was the case when I tested it earlier today.

But, the license server should now be working again, so please give it a try now.

Just checked again.  VFO doesn't work and frequency is grayed out. Transmit button doesn't work either.  Thanks, Rick
And what about audio?

Has anyone checked if the app connects and works ok despite giving the incorrect error message? Because it seems it connects and works ok when I try it(ICOM/Kenwood/Elecraft)
