Det beror på att din telefon upptaderats till Android 16, då slutar appen att fungera. Oklart idag när appen kommer att uppdateras för Android 16

Jag har använt RRC-NANO K för min TS480 en längre tid.
Helt plötsligt strular den. Jag kunde starta radion och RX fungerade och det gick att nyckla TX men ingen modulation gick ut.
Sen gick det inte att stänga ner utan jag fick starta om telefonen.
Nu har jag avinstallerat appen och provat att installera om både RRC-NANO K och PRO-versionen
Men de går inte att konfigurera.
Funktionen med att växla sida fram och back finns inte längre!
jag har bar en sida där man kan skriva anropskod och en knapp anslut men ingen möjlighet att göra några inställningar.
av portar mm.
Någon som råkat ut för detta?

just find an old entry here:

"It's normal that no update is done if the ip is not changed, the RRC checks the ip all the time and only send update if the IP is changed. If you go there the important thing to check is if the DNS (not ddns) status is ok. 
The DNS  is needed for the ddns to work. Send me a copy of the status page where you can see both the DNS and ddns status."

I will investigate a little more and try to obtain a new IP at the remote site and will see, if the status page shows an update.

Dear OM's,

I hope somebody could help me with my problem.

The 1216H Webswitch is running since 7 years (tnx remoterig) without problems.

Now - maybe - I have troubles with the watchdog (settings are unchanged, ping to 8.8.8.8).

Problem: At the website "http://ddns.remoterig.com/status/" the last update shows the 31.10.2025 at 12h UTC..

As far as I remember this should be updated every 10 minutes or so.

BUT: In the "System Info" of the webswitch I could see the status "Ping status (watchdog)   OK [38 ms]"

This sounds like the webswitch could ping the 8.8.8.8 adress (but no update at the status-website).

When using a not existing IP for making the watchdog-ping the watchdog goes into action and switched off and
restart as defined in the settings of the watchdog - so it seems to work!

So before travelling to the remotesite and trying to plug off the CAT-cable of the webswitch (the watchdog must
go to action) - maybe somebody could help me to understand why the status-website shows no update since 31.10. ?

Hi everyone,
after updating to Android 16 (in my case with Samsung One UI 8), the Rccnano app no longer works — it connects, but it doesn’t transmit or receive anymore.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
What smartphone are you using?

Hardware, Cabling, Installations / 1216h and 1216l issue

Hi,
I have been using the 1216h and 1216l for several years now with very good results.  This week I had a lightning strike a tree in my side yard. It caused my flex radio to trip off line and 12volt power to momentarily go off. the Yaesu rotator G-650A along with the 1216H and 1216lL to lose power for a few seconds. When I got the power supply restarted the rotator butons for left and right were still functioning and the h-beam rotated. However when trying to acces the rotator thru the computer interface I saw the that the rotator function in the interface said rotor not initialized. and no red indicator was shown. please see the pic in the attachment.
The 1216H still controls my relays for the radio ok But the rotator will not function.

I suspect the Ato D in the 1216L was damaged but I have no way to prove it.

I do have another new 11216H sitting on my shelf in a box but do not have another 1216L to use. Looking for a distributor in the USA does not seem to be. And the distributors over seas do not seem to have the 1216 in stock.

Can someone help with how to approach this and maybe if needed tell me where I might purchase another 1216L. Error code 9 from 1216L

I did try to record new settings in the setup but only 0 was retrieved so I think the A/D converter got killed.

Ideas and help will be greatly appreciated.

An update to the above. A lightning strike in my side yard damaged my 1216L rotator card. I was able to replace it with a new card from the Ham Radio Shop in Germany. The only place that had one in stock. They were prompt and I received it this morning. Was relieved to get it installed and even more relieved when I guessed right as to the problem. take care

Hi Charles, thanks for your email.
I’m trying to answer all the questions…

No changes at all since last time I used back in May 2025.
I can’t connect to the box on wifi, only by cable through Microbit utility.
No changes in DHCP, remain the same.
I am connecting the box to the router directly with Ethernet cable.
I configured the boxes so they have been working correctly for 2 years now. Set the remote in October every year and dismantle it in May.
Ports are correctly open like in the RRC boxes manual.
IP address is the same, checked that and remains the same.
DDNS can be the problem I think. Looks like it doesn’t connect with remoterig.com, so they don’t get updated, but don’t know how to do it..
I would say is a connection problem.
I changed the router months ago, but since there is a cable connecting the box and the router, I don’t see any issue there, but…. Why can’t I connect to the box via wifi.?

Does the setup connect on the local network?

Did you change the default connection from fixed to DHCP?  Are you connecting to your home network?  How did you configure the RR boxes?   Did you open the necessary ports on the router at the remote site?   Do you have the correct IP address for the remote site?  Did you set up DDNS or a similar FQDN service?

Things I can report: 1) Version 6 boards work with the K3 Twin configuration.  There is no JMP5 on these boards but it doesn't seem to make any difference.  2) Small configuration errors keep it from working.  I discovered one setting that was incorrect, then the system came to life.  3) be careful if you "roll your own" DB15 cable.  Remember in a standard configuration of an RJ45 that pins 4 and 5 are blue and blue stripe, opposite of all the other pairs.   If you are crimping your own RJ45 you can set it up any way you like, but the standard "B" configuration has the blue pair reversed.

I will start rigorously testing this setup today, everything except the mic.   I don't work SSB as a general rule.

Thanks for the bandwidth.  Sometimes laying out the problem leads to a solution.

Hi guys, back here after sometime.
Just set up the remote station today but can’t get the remote box to connect internet.
Last update was 2025-05-12, so I need to do anything to update dns or anything so I can get it running.? Ports in router are OK but no connection for some reason..

Any help.?  Thanks.
