Mico can't connect - timeout error
« on: 2011-10-30, 05:08:10 »
In the middle of CQWW I had to fly from Toronto to San Jose CA for a meeting.

Now that I am in San Jose, I thought that it would be good to get use my RC Micro, however it is timing out  on the connection.

The IP address is correct as are all the port forwards on the router.  But, I keep getting timeout messages.  All 3 ports (SIP etc) are configured correctly.

The laptop is Win 7 64 Bit.  The firewall is off.

The log looks like :

Any ideas?  I doubt that it is outboud firewall issues as I can connect to the remote station and all the other non-standard ports I use.

Re: Mico can't connect - timeout error
This is a strange problem.

I can connect to the radio via HRD using all the HRD solutions (client/server mode), but there is no way the Micro wants to connect.

So, I changed ports from 5061 way off the SIP range and now it has connected.

Now, have some audio issues to sort out.  Skype audio to the box is perfect though.  Strange.  Sadly, I can't use Skype for the TX audio to the radio for some reason.  (That is a totally different problem).

The audio is very choppy and more off than on.  This only happens on the Micro version.
