Kenwood TS-570 setup
« on: 2011-11-14, 14:30:01 »
Hi all:

Haven't posted in quite a while because everything is just working perfectly.
However, I'm changing my rig from a Yaesu FT-450 to a Kenwood TS-570Dg but I'm not sure on which connector on the Control RRC do I use for the mic input. Is it the large RJ-45, currently used by my MD-100A8X or the smaller one to the right when facing the Control RRC.
I'm also not sure if this is an RJ-8 or 9. Will I also have to change any jumpers in both the Control and Radio RRCs?
Other than setting the units to use Yaesu, the appropriate comm ports and the speed  in the web interfaces, my units worked out of the box.
I'm figuring I'll have to do the same for the Kenwood but I'm hoping I won't have to mess with any jumpers.
I didn't have to for the Yaesu. Worked right out of the box.
