« on: 2011-11-23, 22:40:07 »
Hello ,
I Have Started the process of trying to interface the icom IC-7000 Radio To the RRC-1258 MkII I have Firmware Version 2.46
Installed in each unit and I have gotten both units to work with a kenwood TS-850S So I know that The units work together ..But anyways I followed the instructions For the Icom IC-706 the cable pinout appeared to be the same but no luck so far I have played around with the BAUD rates and things like that but have hit a dead end is there anyone out there that has had any luck with this model any help would be greatly appreciated And if i need to move on and get a diffrent radio i will
Thanks

To configure the IC-7000 you should look in the ICOM in general chapter in the manual. It's like all other ICOM:s. The IC-706 chapter describes the IC-706 with separated control panel and it's not possible with the IC-7000.
