Mike,
What are you trying to do ?
there is no serial connection on the webswitch 1216H , only USB to serial for rotators

the RC-1216H will work ok if you meant this one

I thought the 1216H only works with the SDA 100 controller, and not with the
older controller? That is why I couldn't buy one for my older SteppIR.

Let me check again Mike
rebuilding antennas/tower now after lightning strike
If my memory is still ok it worked with a 3 wire
null modem cable on data out with my old controllers
