I have RRC-1258 which is configured for k3.   If it has nothing plugged into it, except for power.  Almost exactly 30 minutes after it is powered on I see the lights on the front panel over AUXMIC blink.  This happens every 30 minutes as if it it is restarting.  Power supply is Astron. Is there a reason for this?

Come on guys.  You designed his equipment.  Can someone tell me if there is a fix for this?  Is it caused by hardware or software?  How can I test to see?
It is hardware 07 and firmware 2.65.  It is quite annoying when this occurs during operating times.

I haven't seen this post before. There is no known reason for that, there is no 30 minute timers either so I have no clue. Connect a PC with hyperterminal or similar to com1 (38400 baud 8 bit, 1 stop bit no parity and no handshake). You will get lot of info there, store it in a file and send it to us.

.Unfortunately I am not set up to do that.
Is there anyone else out there who has experienced this recycling?

Hi

Is it the radio unit or the control unit ? If it is the radio unit, email me ip number and login, and make sure port 23 is portforwarded in the router then I can try from here. It's not the same to do it via Telnet but it's worth giving it a try.

By the way it's eay to check if it restarts, if you check on the info page you can se Uptime, also note Reset src. Remember to reload the page to see changes.

I checked the settings and the Ping Watchdog was activated  ( by misstake) and directed to a non existing IP so the Ping watchdog caused reset after 300+(6x300) sec = 35 minutes.
