Remoting the IC-7000

Is it sure that IC-7000 radio is impossible to be remoted separating the display from the unit as IC-706 does? Is the reason the additional 2 connections for YY-VIDEO and YY GND in the separation cable OPC-1443? Please confirm!

Yes it's a analogue video signal which is driving the display. Wait for the IC-7100 it will be perfect.
