Can the Micro be set to  turn the K3 on/off or do I need to leave the radio turned on all the time to use it?

Hi

If you have set it up and made the cables according to the K3-Twin instructions, the K3 will be switch on/off even if you connect with the RRC-Micro. You do not need to change any settings when connecting with RRC-Micro, it's done automatically if the RRC is set to K3-Twin mode.
