I just found a problem with IC-7100. In some situation, such as:

1) in system running, a network problem, lost connection each other.
2) in system running, adjust some setting of 1258-control then restart the box.
3) in system running, adjust some setting of 1258-radio then restart the box.

the IC-7100 panel can't connect to the IC-7100 radio again, I must wait some times, such as 10mins, some times very very long.

I have to power off the IC-7100 radio power supply and power on again, the IC-7100 panel can connect the radio works fine.

So, is any method or setting, if the 1258-radio find the radio lost connection with panel, then let the radio power off automatically?

I have same problem
My 7100 main box will freze and only way to solve it is to power reset the main unit .
It happens more often if I have radio in scan mode
RRC box is not frozen so if I could have power relay that turn radio off if I turn off remote 1258 would solve this problem

Also MAX TX time is done in the 7100 display unit   , bad to see radio stuck in TX for hours  even I have max TX time 1 minute :(
as connection is frozen

Hi

You can connect a Relay to one of the 3 outputs if you have one free. Then you can control the output from the radio-RRC webinterface. The outputs are Open Collector transistors.
