DL5CW:
Hi,

is it possible to use the RRC Nano App with Kenwood TS-480 and Expert 1K?

The schematic of my setup you will find in the attachment.

Hi

Yes but you must connect a RS-232 cable from Radio-RRC com2 to the Radio CAT port, and make a new cable from the Expert to the radio-RRC com1 and set com 1 in mode 6. The RRC will then handle the connection from the Expert to the radio combined with the Nano to radio connection. Be aware of the different pinning of com1 and com2.

Nano works fine with the TS-480. You use a browser to control the amplifier. Basically, no problem from an Android smartphone.

SM0SHG:
Dear Mitch,

How do I control the Expert 1K-FA with a browser? My Expert 1K-FA does not have a web-server built in... It would be great if it had...

Edit: Aha... Got it. Did not se the diagram... :)

Hi Adde,

If you look at the diagram that DL5CW posted, then you will see that he is using the Webswitch RC-1216 to
control his SPE 1K.FA http://www.remoterig.com/wp/?page_id=1010#tabs-3
This is controlled using a web browser.

P.S.: I now see you found the diagram, but I will leave my answer in case someone else needs to know
