No PTT using IC 2820 on fixed IP's
« on: 2010-11-09, 07:31:05 »
after installing the equipment audio and controlling is running perfect now. But pushing the PTT,  sound on controller side mutes, but there is no transmission activated. What could be wrong?

I'm using fixed IP adresses on both sides, ports are free and due to an other sip installation I changed the sip port on both sides to 5061

Hi

Have you checked the red jumpers on the Radio-RRC. Maybe the PTT wire is broken, check with an ohm meter, it can be difficult to see

Problem is solved, exactly by the recomended action. After changing of jumpers everything is working well under the special license of OE3NKA_REMOTE. Your can find further information about this public Internet Remote Base Station at www.qth.at/oe3nka_remote  - now with an IC2820, powered by RRC-1258MkIIs

Mny thanks Mike for your prompt support!
