System fusion/Yaesu twin?
« on: 2017-05-31, 03:44:07 »
Will the Yaesu twin concept work with the FT400DMR, I understand I'd need 2 radios, correct? I dont believe it would work in the "conventional" mode, with the panel removed, something about it being a unique, maybe proprietary baud rate and data?

Hi
Their CAT protocol do not support functions to update the big screens on the control radio. So the functionallity would be very limited so it's not worth the effort, and the customers would be very disapointed also I guess.
