TS 480 won't transmit

I have a TS 480 with RCC 1258 and won't transmit when PTT is pressed, the radio works fine without using the RRC-1258. Any ideas?

Richard,

The microphone PTT is pure hardware and not related to RRC settings. This can only be either a red strap inside of an RRC not making contact,
or one of the mic cables not connected or defective. This is where you should look at for your problem.
