Help with RRC1258 and Icom 7100
« on: 2019-01-11, 04:08:38 »
Hi everyone

I just set up the ic-7100 on Lan and works, but when I hooked up to the internet it doesn't. can anyone check my connection and see if my network is able to get my remoterig work or is it the ISP problem?  I believe you will just look into my public and WAN ip and you can tell if it works thru the internet.  i'm willing to be remoted thru teamviewer, or anydesk or whatever remote you can use.  Please shoot me an email asap, I badly need your help.

Clint,

I can help you out.

I first suggest that you contact me directly at dj0qn (at) darc.de and I will send you my
networking checklist first. This should help you find your problem, since mostly it is caused
by one or two items that were not done correctly.

If that doesn't help, then we can make a schedule when I can take a look using Teamviewer.

Just to follow-up.....problem was solved. Issue with router's port forwarding that was solved
by moving to DMZ instead.
