I am the friend that EA5WA is helping.
I have the rotor open command, and I suppose it must be the integrated or socket that you comment. Upload photo. It is accessible, yes. It is easy to place max 232, but I can't find in google bridges that I should cut on the board. Would you provide this information please? I use google translator and it is never perfect.
To change usb in the remote, I understand I need that or similar?

It seems strange to me the part that comes from origin, or manufactures, that indicates rs232 to usb converter, so we thought that we only had to change the connector and easy. But no.
