Title: Setup Manager not connecting via USB
Post by: WB2REI on 2015-12-11, 16:57:19
Could use some help here.  Set up and updated firmware with web interface.
Now trying to set up WIFI.
The RR is showing as normal in the Devices section of the windows computer.
However it is not being seen by the setup manager for either unit.
Help appreciated as I need the wifi functionality.

I have now tried to connect with USB to 2 different windows 7 machines and one 8.  All machines see the RR hardware in the device manager.  However the connection to the microbic setup manager is not existent thru the USB connection.  I thank any in advance who can help me with this problem.

Could you try this version:

http://www.remoterig.com/forum/index.php?topic=4200.msg19376#msg19376 (http://www.remoterig.com/forum/index.php?topic=4200.msg19376#msg19376)

and see if it shows any error messages?

Same problem....not talking to USB.  Elecraft has been kind enough to call me today at 2200Z for support so I  will see what they can do.

Same problem using version 1.30 of the Microbit Setup Manager? What has Elecraft to do with you not being able to use our Setup Manager to configure the RRC?
