Have you any pictureżżż???

I removed all cables and power from the AS-1289.  I removed the case top.

I removed the 2 mounting screws for the logic  board.  Turning the board over, I carefully scraped away the soldermask on the copper ground plane in a ring around each of the 2 mounting screw holes.  Just enough to mate with the metal standoffs.  I tinned the bare copper.   Then I remounted the logic board with the 2 mounting screws.

Hello to everybody!

I just changed my Expert 1KFA for a ACOM 2000A on my remote.

For this time  I decided to buy the RC-1216H from remoterig and Im very happy with the result, its works with a GREAT PERFOMANCE all the time :-D

Is almost plug and play, and yo can see all the normal readouts from the amplifier on line.

I think its a great investment for my remote.

I just got it!

Finally Its works on PSK using the RJ45 cable from the Signalink to the RRC.

On RTTY I can see the PTT and signal but its seems to be that its doesnt work properly.
OK on RX and RTTY mode.

On my IMAC its doesnt run... using the same config from my portable PC where it runs perfect..
PRETTY STRANGE!!! :o

Hi guys!

With my previus remote config (TS480) I was able to work on PSK and RTTY, buy since I´d changed to the Yaesu Twins Im not able to make it works.

For just checking using the DM780 I can RX but never TX.

I just followed the manual...

Also I changed the straps inside the Signalink.

Im using the SP on the RRC Control to the Speaker on the Signalink.

Someone can help?

Thanks in advance.

Mike, Juanma means:

He wanna control a Icom  2820.
At Radio RRC  runs the firmware 2.72 and the bootloader 1.09.
At Control RRC runs the firmware version 2.72 and the bootloader 1.10

With these configuration it doesnt work !!!

He thinks that if he changes the bootloader to the same version should work, isnt it?

The same version should be on both RRC tu run properly.

How can he change the bootloader version?

Thanks

Hello.

You also can use the MDS HAM RC-1 and the model depending the rotator that you wish to control. The MDS HAM gives you on the RS232 port, DCU-1 protocol and its works perfect with the webswich 1216H using the cable adapter Rs232 to webswich.
This way its cheapper than buying the Yaesu GS232 Interface, belive me!

Its works great! You can use the MDS RC-1 to control G450-G650 with a transformer, G800 and the rest of Yaesu models plug and play. Also has the version for Ham, Emotator and alpha spid and others.
Its really cool and you dont need any pc working on your remote shack.

Mine works PERFECT with the webswich.

Here you have pictures (sorry text in Spanish)  http://ea7eu.com/node/1075

Also I wanna share this info with all the remoterig users.
