Green blinking indicates problems with DNS

probably you have entered wrong adress to dns server, but you are using a IP number

so it works but the RRC cannot get in conntact with the DNS server, you can check it on the status page also

Hi

It impossible to say in advance. It depends of how the software handles the serial ports

Hi

We don't see it as a big problem, and I don't know if it's even possible to solve

The volume of the error tone is the same as CW-side tone. So reducing the CW-sidetone  at the CW-settings will reduce the error tones also

Remember that the COM 1 do not have all pins connected, So I guess you need to have a Interface which is NOT powered from the serialports as most of the home made transistor interfaces are based on. Better build one with a MAX232 powered separately.

Hi

I have not used the ARCP-480. But you do not write anything about a cable to the radio CÁT-port.
You must connect a RS-232 cable from the Radio-RRC COM2 to the Radio CAT port as the ARCP do not use the same protocol as the control panel. See instructions. You also have to set up COM 2 to Kenwood protocol in both RRC:s with the right baudrate settings. And 57600 is just bandwidth consuming, 19200 is enough

Almost all routers can be setup to create a VPN tunnel between two routers often using IPSEC, so it's no problem to build a secured setup.

But why bother if it's used for ham radio all audio will be sent out over the air for everyone to listen to ?

Why don't you have the preamp on ?

Heil mics normally have lower levels than orginal microphone so start with preamp on and codec inp gain 18 when testing, Then increase mic gain on the radio. If you do not get enough you could increase the codec inp gain as last step.

- Some minor cosmetic changes.
- Better handling of some error situations.

Hi

You can always try to change SIP port from port 5060 to something else. Try 8000.

If it does not help you probably have to change to a router which you can configure by your self.

If my ISP would not allow me to manage my router I should have changed ISP.

Yes

You must select which output you will use for the keying signal. It's done under the I/O settings in the Radio-RRC

- Now with profiles to make it easier to change between different setups.
- Now it's possible to use other microphones. Not locked to 1274A anymore. 1274A must be connected
  as PTT and licence dongle.
- User interface modified.
- Selectable packet size 20/40 ms. Follows automatically in RRC end.
- The Program window now follows windows standard and is NOT always on top.
- Some other small fixes also.
- Note! You must upgrade RRC to 2.33 at the same time.
