I would like to turn my beam remotely but do not wish to use a laptop or software to do so. I would like to do it with a real controller. Is anyone using rotator hardware (control head) on the control RRC end to turn their beam?
If so, how are you doing it and with what hardware? Would it be possible to use two MDS RC1-G Yaesu G450 controllers?
Thanks,

I have the exact same question as John has posted above. Is this at all possible. Can anyone post a sentence or two to describe how it's done?

The problem I see is how these controllers work: they measure the voltage across a
potentiometer to determine which direction the antenna is pointed. There is not a direct
serial control of the rotor itself.
That being said, I found a possible solution. It is pricey, but looks like it may be a solution
for this purpose:

Maybe someone else found another solution.
