Hola to all,
i think i am having problems installing Virtual Ports under Win 7.
I´m using
RRC-Micro 1.9.2.0
Dongle 1274B 2.1.0.0 Frimware
RTP 1.2.0
Win 7 Pro
I followed all the steps in the installation and Setup guides for the Software Micro-rrc. I can see the Virtual Ports under Windows Device Manager but when connect HRD always gives an error trying to read freccuency.
I have deleted all the Microbits Ports using the MicrobitDeviceManager utillity and reinstalled the rrc-micro software again, always under Administrator privileges, but always have the same symptoms later with HRD.
Any Help will be wellcome, i must be doing something wrong.
Thanks in advance

A common problem is to not use the correct "RRC COMx" in RRC-Micro matching the radio RRC's serial port configuration. Are you sure you have configured that part correct?

Hola Jan,
I think i´m doing correctly. I have COM 2 for CAT at RRC Radio site.
At RRC-Micro COM 2 Mode 4 for Kenwood and PC COM Port also 2.
I try to connect HRD using COM 2.
Is this correct ?

Seems OK. And correct baud rate too?
-
Baud rate 4800, and all flow controls/interface power disable at dialog setup window in HRD
-
Hmm.. Could you email or pm me connection info for the radio RRC so I can try to connect from here?

mail sended Jan

It works from here using HRD. What do you see for RRC statuses when attempting to connect/start HRD? ->
Connection status XXX
SIP status XXX
Last SIP error XXX
RTP/UDP audio status XXX
UDP cmd status XXX
?
-
Conexion status : Faulty
SIP status : connected/transfered
Last SIP error : none
RTP/UDP audio status: Error (0)
UDP cmd status : Error (0)
Saved error message:
Data Abort at 0x0004b544, called by 0x0004b540
-
RTP/UDP audio status: Error (0)
UDP cmd status : Error (0)
means that neither audio, nor command data is received by the radio RRC. Since it worked from here it must have something to do with your configuration(correct ports?), your network connection, etc.

it works with the RRC-1258 perfect from here ... i have tried from different networks and PCs with the micro without success, i guess must be something with the micro setup but cann´t find what
