Title: Remoterig Rotor interface and DXLABS
Post by: K5WK Ken on 2012-10-31, 18:32:06
The rotor interface graphic allows one to enter the direction for rotation.
The DX View application of DXLABS suite gives the short and long path for an antity that you have clicked on in DX View.
It would be great if someone made the short path  be automatically inserted into the rotor interface graphic.
Maybe some brilliant person will give this a look.
.......................
Is there a programatic interface one can use to communicate with the software that generates the rotor graphic?

Is this a question regarding the 1216H product? If so, then no, currently there is no interface which allows another program to control the rotator.

Jan,

When will the virtual serial port finally be implemented for the 1216H? I am still waiting for this
feature, so that we can replace the Lantronix serial servers with 1216H's in our remote sites.

Mike and I had discussed this last year, so it has been a while in development.

Mitch,

I am sorry, but it has been paused for a long time now. There is sooo many things which are on the feature list that things sometimes become considerably delayed.
