I am having big troubles connecting to my remote station, a TS-480. Everything works when connecting via the local Lan, but I am not able to get a connections from the outside. I have added port forwarding for the suggested ports including change of SIP port # to 5061. I have a D-Link DSL-2640B at the station site and a Netgear DG834PN between my remote head and the internet.
When I try to connect (using power button) the yellow led on the Remoterig interface lights steady, and sometimes the display lights up, but most if the times noting at all happens except for a weak clicking noise from the speaker. When the display lights up there is no audio received, but there seems to be outgoing audio as the power and ALC meters moves when I try to transmit. It seems not possible to control the radio, only Power on/off is functional
Any ideas? Anyone using the routers I mentioned and have specific ideas?

Hi
Be sure that SIP ALG is NOT activated in the Netgear Box. If the other one has something like that switch it off

SIP ALG has been switched off on both routers.

This problem has been resolved.
It was not caused by the D-Link router, it was probably the effect of another part of the link messing up the ports. With the mentioned normal port forwarding settings for SIP, control and audio ports the router works fine for Remoterig. It is not necessary to place the Remoterig interface in the DMZ zone as suggested, just use port forwarding.
