Title: TS-480 Comparing Serial Numbers...

FROM THE USERS MANUAL (for the TS-480):
"New radios with serial number from 70600056 are using Configuration type 1 and older radios with serial number below are using configuration type 2."

I bought my TS-480HX in January, 2012. The serial number on it is:
A95000154

Since the serial number has an 'A', unlike the one above, I really can't tell for sure if my rig is older or newer (type 1 or type 2). I'm guessing it's newer? Type 1?

Anyone know for sure?
