Title: remote rig with ic 706 not connect hrd

hello
I can not connect to ham radio deluxe ic 706 com2 I installed it on the radio remote-rig a level converter home made, I configured serial com2 as c-iv, speed equal to that set on the menu of IC706.
later on the remote-rig controller  I configured the serial com 2 as civ, I connected to com2 serial cable pin to pin, but ham radio delux does not recognize the radio

solved
I have built a civ with max232 (powered 12 volt external)

radio:
max232 interface direct com2
connect 3.5mm plug on cat icom
setting rrc radio:
COM2 mode 2 icom
COM2 baud rate 9600
COM2 8 data bits
COM2 stop bits 1
COM2 parity 0
COM2 terminator (hex) 00

controller:
frontal connect usb port on pc
rrc controller setting:
COM2 mode 2 icom
COM2 baud rate 9600
COM2 8 data bits
COM2 stop bits 1
COM2 parity 0
COM2 terminator (hex) 00
Use as USB Com Port COM2 yes

apply change and restart rig and ric radio controll

open after setting icom ham radio delux model, baud rate 9600, no dtr, no rts
and functions regularly
