Title: Webswitch Serial Port to control Alpha 87a?

Is it possible to use the serial port on the Webswitch to remote control an Alpha 87a using the Alpha remote software?  Advice on setup/config to use the Serial/Com port on the 1216H or even RC1216H? welcome.

which explains how to use the Webswitch's serial port in combination with serial port drivers installed by the Setup Manager program to create a remote serial port.
