Title: corupted Serial number

I have installed two Remoterig systems with normal headaches.  Purchased a third new pair of RCC1258 MKiis V7 .  Upgraded firmware to 2.85.  Installed WIFI  in mobile box.  The mobile box is reading a strange serial number 4294967295  during setup and sometimes shows the mac address as FF.FF:FF.FF.FF or something close to this.  The WIFI card is sometimes not detected so removed the card and have the same symptoms.  Should I return the units to Ham Radio Outlet or is there a fix.  I reloaded the 2.85 with no change.  Reset the box and lost configuration but serial problem still exits.

What to do?

Hi

there is a way to fix the serialnumber,open the box and check the serialnumber on the label. and send me a personal message with the serial number

TNX Mike but the MAC address has also failed to F's so It is on its way back to HRO for replacement.

Ok, the mac adress is calculated from the serialnumber so it's very easy to recover all, but then its' to late
